This site hosts learning and research content for classes and students of the IFRS Porto Alegre Campus. Evandro Manara Miletto is a Professor at Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology – IFRS, Porto Alegre Campus, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Prof Miletto received a PhD and Master’s degree in Computer Science from PPGC-UFRGS, in 2009 and 2005, respectively. He also did a doctorate internship at Université Paris-Sud 11, in Paris. Since 2002 he has developed multidisciplinary research about cooperative music prototyping on the Web by novices, including topics in Computer Music, Computer in Education, HCI, and CSCW. He is also interested in Web design and networked music focused on novice users. Currently, Prof Miletto is Associated Professor at Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul, Working with the following courses: Internet Languages, Web design, Computer Music. Some of the new researches in cooperation with CEGEP of Sherebrooke – Canada, includes wireless sensor network  for water quality monitoring, in the context of the Master Program in Education, Technology and Environment.
